In December 1854, Pope Pius IX proclaimed: The Blessed Virgin Mary was, "in the first instance of her conception, by a singular privilege and grace granted by God, in view of the merits of Jesus Christ, the Savior of the human race, was preserved exempt from all stain of original sin."
Holy Mass for the Solemnity of the Immaculate Conception at Sts. Peter & Paul Honolulu will be celebrated:
Friday, December 7 -- 6:00PM Vigil Mass Saturday, December 8 -- 8:00AM and Noon Mass
It is a Holy Day of Obligation and all the Faithful are encouraged to attend.
Note: The 5:00PM Saturday Mass is for the Second Sunday of Advent.
