"On the altar we adore the Flesh of Jesus, in the people we find the wounds of Jesus.
Jesus hidden in the Eucharist, Jesus hidden in these wounds. They need to be heard!...
The wounds should be heard by those who call themselves Christian, and today,
all of us, here, need to say, 'These wounds must be heard!' But there is something else that gives us hope. Jesus is present in the Eucharist, here is the flesh of Jesus; Jesus is present among you, it is the Flesh of Jesus: the wounds of Jesus are present in these people."
(Pope Francis)
TAKE ACTION! BE THEIR VOICE!
"Among our tasks as witnesses to the love of Christ
is that of giving a voice to the cry of the poor."
(Pope Francis)
Our Parish Advocates attended the House Committee Hearing on State Bill 2911,
(Physician Assisted Suicide otherwise known as Death With Dignity Bill).
They advocated against the bill, testified for life until natural death and presented state officials with the signatures of hundreds of our parishioners who were against the passing of this bill.
The bill was defeated! Your Voice CAN make a difference!
