Week of September 25, 2011

Today we gather together to celebrate the Mass for the Twenty-Sixth Sunday in Ordinary
Time. The first reading from Ezekiel centers on repentance and that is something very important to all of us. After all we are to have our relationship with God a good one. That is why we are here on this earth. As far back as we can remember, we are here to praise, reverence and serve God in this life in order to be happy with him in this year and the next. If we do this then we will not only be doing what God wants, but our lives are successful and we will live in peace and harmony with each other.

Week of September 18, 2011

p>Today we gather together to celebrate the Mass for the Twenty-Fifth Sunday in Ordinary Time. Our first
reading today comes from Isaiah the Prophet and centers on how different God’s way is from ours. We must center on what God wants for each of us. When we do this, we live in peace and harmony and know that we are following the will of God.

Week of September 11, 2011

Today we gather together to celebrate the Mass for the Twenty-Fourth Sunday in Ordinary Time. The theme of today’s Gospel is one of forgiveness. We are to be forgiving people and to have concern for one another. We seek
forgiveness in our daily lives so we should be forgiving as we deal with one another. The high point of being a Christian is to be Christ-like. If we do this everyday, our lives should be happy ones.

Week of September 4, 2011

Today we gather to celebrate the Mass for the Labor Day weekend. The Church has always been interested in the working people and how they are cared for. With interest like this the Church has always been interested in the needs of its people.
